The first step in starting this journey together will begin with a 1 hour initial assessment. This first session will allow us to get to know each other better. It will provide me with an insight into your medical/health history, diet history, physical activity levels, stress and sleep levels as well as your main health and wellness goals.

This initial assessment will allow me to determine how to adjust my program to help you in the best way possible. It will allow me to better understand how to support you.

The follow up sessions as part of my program will happen based on a pre-arranged schedule and will take place either weekly or bi-weekly. There are other custom options available if this doesn’t work for you. However, it is important to follow the program the way it is designed so that you experience the best results.

During your follow up sessions, we will set appropriate goals and figure out challenges that you may be experiencing that are preventing you from reaching your goals. Although there are foundational principles to the program, each follow up session will be unique to you. During these sessions you will learn about mindfulness, hunger and fullness cues, different types of hunger, how to identify triggers to emotional eating, and so much more. Again, your specific nutrition goals will be incorporated as part of this program and rest assured, you will come out of this program feeling empowered to make healthy conscious choices that are right for you, while learning to love your body and have developed a positive relationship with food.

If you have private insurance, you may be covered for a registered dietitian, be sure to check with your insurance company directly. I will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
